Evan brings a practitioner lens from front-office roles to independent research and advisory built for investment committees and portfolio leads. His approach is numbers-first and decision-oriented, translating technical and policy detail, including where transition and climate risk are financially material, into underwriting, portfolio planning, and execution.

Evan’s career spans Europe and the Americas, initially trained at one of Canada’s leading institutional investors. His experience covers technical modelling, portfolio management, structured transactions, capital raising, and risk management across real assets and related capital structures.

Prior to founding Leaf & Ledger, Evan was Head of Portfolio Management for Kennedy Wilson’s portfolio of more than €3 billion in Ireland. He also held roles at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Avestus Capital Partners, and Granite REIT.

His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, the CFA designation, and the CFA Institute Climate Risk, Valuation & Investing Certificate, along with strategic management coursework from Harvard Extension School and specialist training from Moody’s UK Investor Training Service and The Marquee Group in LBO modelling.
